To unprotect the keys, press them again and the key will go dark.
NOTE: Protecting the keys does not prevent Speed dial keys from being changed locally using Menu, SpDial.

KEY CLICKS

Key clicks can be enabled or disabled by pressing MENU, and dialing 96 on the touchtone keypad.

DISABLE LOGGING

Call logs can be disabled completely so that no calls will log, or, they can be disabled so "shared" Call Appearances will
not log.
Disabling Call Logs Completely
To disable Call Logging so NO calls will log, press MENU and dial 97 on the touchtone keypad. Press Yes to disable call
logging. Press No to enable call logging.
Disable Call Logs On Shared Call Appearance
Call Logs can be disabled on Shared Call Appearances by changing the Shared Call Appearances from Prime Call
Appearances to General Call Appearances.
To change Prime Call Appearances to General Call Appearances, press MENU, MORE, MORE, Config, MORE,
PrimCA. For further information, see "PrimCA (Primary Call Appearance)".
NOTE: Remember, changing a Prime CA to a General CA, removes it from the Call Appearances that will be
answered by Ringing Line Preference.

TESTING

You can test the operation of your Teleset by using a simple, built-in diagnostic procedure. To begin, follow these steps.
1. Press MENU, MORE, Test
2. Select the test you wish to run.
3. Press the MENU key to exit.

Failure detected on the S Interface
Failure detected on the U Interface
Failure detected in FW Download
Error Types have "or bit relation". This
means the code being displayed may be a
combination of more than one error code.
For example, if the error code displayed is
"10", it would mean an "S-Interface" has
error has
occurred in self-test. If the error code
displayed is "1C", it would mean a "Flash",
