1 Übersicht der Bedienelemente und
Anschlüsse
1.1 Empfänger TXS-880 (Abb. 1)
1 Ein-/Ausschalter; leuchtet in Position „Ein"
2 Display zur Anzeige des Übertragungskanals
3 Taste CHANNEL zur Wahl des Übertragungs-
kanals: mit jedem Tastendruck wird auf den
nächsten freien Kanal gesprungen
4 Taste ACT („Automatic Channel Targeting"), um
den Sender per Infrarot-Übertragung auf den
Übertragungskanal des Empfängers einzustellen:
1. Mit der Taste CHANNEL (3) den Kanal aus-
wählen.
2. Den eingeschalteten Sender so positionieren,
dass sich sein Infrarot-Empfangssensor (18)
maximal 20 cm entfernt in Höhe der Infrarot-
Sendediode (5) befindet.

3. Die Taste ACT drücken. Während des Einstell-
vorgangs blinkt die Kanalanzeige (2).
4. Wenn die Kanalanzeige nicht mehr blinkt und
die Anzeige RF (6) ein Empfangssignal an-
zeigt, sind Sender und Empfänger auf den
gleichen Übertragungskanal eingestellt.
5 Infrarot-Sendediode
6 Anzeige RF („radio frequency") für die Empfangs-
stärke des Funksignals: je mehr Segmente der
Anzeige leuchten, desto besser ist der Empfang

1 Operating Elements and Connections
1.1 Receiver TXS-880 (fig. 1)
1 Power switch; lights up in the position "On"
2 Display for indicating the transmission channel
3 Button CHANNEL for selecting the transmission
channel: each time the button is pressed, the
next available channel is selected
4 Button ACT (automatic channel targeting) for
setting the transmitter to the transmission chan-
nel of the receiver via infrared transmission:
1. Select the channel with the button CHANNEL
(3).
2. Position the activated transmitter in such a
way that its infrared reception sensor (18) is at
a maximum distance of 20 cm on the level of
the infrared transmission diode (5).

3. Press the button ACT. During the adjusting
process, the channel indication (2) will flash.
4. If the channel indication stops flashing and the
indication RF (6) shows a reception signal, the
transmitter and the receiver have been ad-
justed to the same transmission channel.

the radio signal received: the more segments of
the indication light up, the better the reception
7 Indication AUDIO for the volume of the audio sig-
nal received from the transmitter: the more seg-

ing the supplied power supply unit
9 TNC connections ANT. A and ANT. B for connect-

10 Balanced output (XLR) for connecting a bal-
anced microphone input of a mixer or amplifier

an unbalanced microphone input or line input of
