Using the Split Pages Mode

The Split Pages mode allows you to copy two facing pages of a
bound document onto separate sheets of paper, as shown below.
Note:
❏ This mode cannot be used with the Join Pages mode.
❏ To clear all Split Pages mode settings, press the Split Pages Set
button, then press the Clear button.
❏ To return to the Ready to Copy screen with the current settings
applied, press the Exit button.
❏ If you want to cancel your settings, press Cancel on any Split
Pages screen. The Select Advanced Mode screen appears with the
original settings preserved.
❏ If no button is pressed for more than 30 seconds when in Split Pages
mode, any changes made are canceled and the Ready to Copy screen
appears with the original settings preserved.
1. Place the open document face down on the document table
with the fold separating the two pages perpendicular to the
horizontal ruler.
Note:
The fold separating the two facing pages of an open document must
always be perpendicular to the horizontal ruler when using the Split
Pages mode.
