3. SAFETY WARNINGS

Before using the appliance for the first
time, read this instruction manual
carefully and keep it for later
reference.
Check that the mains voltage
corresponds to that indicated on the
appliance.
After removing packaging, check that
the appliance is in perfect condition.
This appliance is for domestic use
only.
In case of breakdown or
malfunctioning, switch off the
appliance. Do not try to repair it.
The cable must not be replaced by
the user. If it needs replacing, contact
a Technical Assistance Service
authorised by the manufacturer. Do
not use the appliance if the cable or
plug are damaged.
Avoid any contact with moving parts.
Never feed the food directly with your
hand.

Always use the complete meat slicer.
The food pusher (1) is part of the
basic unit of this appliance. Using
the appliance without it can be
dangerous.
Do not submerge the appliance in
water or any other liquid.
Never pull on the cable to remove the
plug.
Unplug the appliance when not in use
or before cleaning.
Do not allow children to use the
appliance.
Do not use the appliance outdoors.
This appliance is designed to be used
continuously for a maximum of 10
minutes.

4. OPERATION

Place the appliance on a stable, even, dry
surface.
Connect the appliance to the mains and
turn the switch (5A) to "I".
Adjust the cutting thickness using the
control (7).
Place the food on the carriage (3) and,
using the pusher (1), gently push it
against the slice thickness guide (6). Start
up the machine by pressing the safety
button (5B) and move the carriage with
the food towards the blade (4), taking
care to keep your fingers away from the
blade.
For the appliance to perform correctly,
even pressure should be used. Do not
press excessively on the blade.
When you have finished slicing, unplug
the appliance. For your safety and for
blade protection, align the slice thickness
guide (6) with the blade (4).
5. CLEANING
Before carrying out any cleaning, unplug
the appliance from the mains.
Clean the food pusher with a cloth or soft
sponge using non-abrasive detergent.
Do not use steel wool or abrasive
detergents to clean this appliance.
