Configuration of system software

Before you first start up the system, adapt the controls according to the
installation conditions. This must be done by the person installing the
system.
In configuration mode, the following system software parameters must be
set:

5.3.1 Start and end configuration mode
The adjustable parameters can be altered in edit mode:
➤ With the system switched off, press the ON/OFF button (see
fig. 15 on page 7, 1).
➤ With the system switched on, hold down the ON/OFF button for at
least 2 seconds.
➤ Then hold down the Mode button (see fig. 15 on page 7, 4) for at
least 2 seconds.
➤ Let go of the ON/OFF button.
✓ The Compressor LED (see fig. 15 on page 7, 3) flashes.
➤ Let go of the Mode button.
✓ You are now in configuration mode.
✓ The first digit of the display (see fig. 15 on page 7, 5) shows the menu
level and the second and third show the parameter which can be set –
e.g.
If you make no entry on the control panel for 60 seconds, the system quits
configuration mode.
➤ Press the ON/OFF button to quit configuration mode.

Parameter Explanation
Set temperature The system starts with the
temperature defined here.
AC-DC switching The system software is modified for
operation with the DC expansion kit.
Operating mode The system starts with the operating
mode defined here.
Space factor The space factor defined here controls
the activation of the fan and
compressor in automatic mode.
Default settings Parameters 1-4 can be returned to the
default settings.
