7.1.3 Meaning of Service Menu selection items

When selecting this menu item the POS Device HUB starts as usual.
When selecting this menu item the POS Device HUB starts as usual –
but without starting the additional customer plugins. This is very
helpful in case a customer plugin has a fault behavior making the
POS Device HUB not working properly. This may happen in case a
plugin is consuming so many processor time that the whole system is
working too slow for a reasonable usage. Then you may start the
POS Device HUB without starting plugins and deactivate the fault
plugin in the admin WebGUI.
Note: the changes done by this menu are only valid for the current
booting.
When selecting this menu item the POS Device HUB starts as usual
but the option "Print Service Report on Printer during BOOT" is acti-
vated. In this case additionally during boot (and also future boot
phases) the service report is printed on the configured receipt print-
er. You may disable again this option in the admin WebGUI of the
POS Device HUB
Note: the changes done by this menu item will be done permanently
This menu item restores all configuration parameters which are
changeable in the admin WebGUI to the defaults and starts the POS
device HUB. Defaults are e.g.:
