Use the upper quarter of the

abrasive wheel for cutting the
opposite lower side.
First lateral cut on the top half of the

pipe
Second lateral cut in the marked

area – never cut into the area of the
last cut, to ensure a firm hold on the
part of pipe to be cut
Only make the last top cut once all
bottom and lateral cuts have been
made.

First, cut hard-to-reach areas

Always make severing cuts so that

the abrasive wheel is not pinched
Use wedges and/or leave ridges

that are broken after cutting

If the severed part remains in the

recess after cutting (due to wedges,
ridges used), do not make any
further cuts – break the severed part
