ROLLER 'GUIDE MENU OPERATIONS
This HDTV Digital Receiver incorporates V-Chip technology to block the viewing of
movies and television programs according to the rating category. There are 2 Content
Advisory categories: MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) and TV Parental
Guidelines Ratings and are used as guidelines for blocking the programs.
Lock: Password
Before you can access the LOCK menu settings, you need to enter a 4 digit secret
code.
Procedure

In the Roller Guide menu, press the A
~
buttons to highlight the LOCK icon.

Press ACTION button to display the LOCK menu.
o
Press
~
button.
o
Use the numeric keypad to enter a four-digit secret code. (Use a code that is easy to
remember and record it in
a
safe place).
Once you correctly enters the code, you will have access to the user profile as shown
below.
Lock: Password Screen Lock: Change Password Screen
Once you gain access to the user profile, the user can have access to the following
areas.
Password
Movie Limits
TV Limits
Ch Locks
Spending
The user can change the current password.
This allows the user to set the movie ratings limit,
according to MPM.
This allows the user to set TV ratings limit.
This allows the user to lock all satellite and non-
satellite channels from being displayed or unlock all
channels.
This allows the user to set the spending limit.
