ROLLER GUIDE MENU OPERATIONS

The HD'I-V Digital Receiver incorporates V-CHIP technology to block the viewing of movies and television programs
according to the rating category. There are 2 Content Advisory Categories: MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America)
and TV Parental Guidelines Ratings and are used as guidelines for blocking the programs.
Lock : Password
Before you can access the LOCK menu settings, you need to create a 4 digit secret code. When you first display the LOCK
menu, follow the directions on the screen to set up the password.

In the RollerGuidemenu, pressthe _i,V buttons to highlight the LOCK icon.
C] PressACTION buttonor • to displaythe LOCK menu.

PressACTION buttonagain to displaythe Passwordscreen.

Press• to enter the Passwordsub-menu.

Usethe numerickeypadto enter a four-digit secretcode. (Use a code thatis easy to rememberand recordit in a safe place).
Once you create the 4 digit password, you can select various features of the menu. The HD'I'V Digital Receiver will be in
the lock mode. The next time you want to enter the Lock menu, you should enter your 4-digit secret code.

This allows the user to set TV ratings limit.

channels from being displayed or unlock all channels,

The user can change the current password.
Note:
Movie / TV limits and channel locks are active only when the HD TV Digital Receiver is locked.
