Basic Operations
Be sure to lower the volume before
switching off the unit power or the ignition
key. The unit remembers its last volume
setting. If you switch the power off with the
volume up, when you switch the power back
on, the sudden loud volume may hurt your
hearing and damage the unit.
Selecting speaker system
When this product is turned on for the first time,
it allows you to select a speaker system.

[SEEK PANEL]
leftward or
rightward to select the setting.
Each time you push the
[SEEK PANEL]
leftward or rightward, the setting change in
the following order:
"NORMAL"

"3WAY"
+-+
"2WAY"
+-+
"NORMAL"...

Press the
[~II
ENT]
button.
3.
Push the
[SEEK PANEL]
leftward or
rightward to select
"OK"
or
"CANCEL".
4.
Press the
[~II
ENT]
button to store the
setting.

Refer to the section "Adjusting Sound Mode"
(page 12) and "Adjusting Sound Setting Mode"
(page 16).
Note:
• The first time this unit is turned on after the wire
connections are completed, it must be checked
what equipment is connected. When the power is
turned on, "SYSTEM CHECK" appears in the
display, then the unit returns to the selecting
speaker system.
System check function
If you change your speaker system while the
power of this unit is on, perform the System
check function to select the appropriate speaker
system again. See
"Performing a system
check"
(page
28)
for details.
Select the speaker system suited to your
speaker configuration. Failing to do so can
damage your speakers.
