Gate A20 Option
Gate A20 refers to the way the system addresses memory above 1 MB (extended memory).
When set to Fast, the system chipset controls Gate A20. When set to Normal, a pin in the
keyboard controller controls Gate A20. Setting Gate A20 to Fast improves system speed,
particularly with OS/2 and Windows. The default setting is Fast.
The choice: Fast, Normal.
Typematic Rate Setting
When disabled, continually holding down a key on your keyboard, system will use the default
typematic rate delay of 250 msec and typematic rate of 6 chars/sec to repeatedly input. When
enabled you can adjust both settings. For example, you could use such a feature to accelerate
cursor movements with the arrow keys.

When "Typematic Rate Setting" is enabled, these selections allow you to select the rate at which
character repeats when you hold down a key.

When "Typematic Rate Setting" is enabled, these selections allow you to select the delay before
key strokes begin to repeat.

Security Option
If you have set a password, select whether the password is required every time the System boots,
or only when you enter Setup.
The choice: System, Setup.
PCI / VGA Palette Snoop
When MPEG ISA/VESA VGA Cards can not work smoothly with PCI/VGA card, select
Enabled otherwise leave at Disabled.
Assign IRQ For VGA
You can select "Enaled" or "Disabled" BIOS to Auto assign IRQ for VGA card.
OS Select for DRAM > 64MB
This item allows you to access memory that is over 64MB in OS/2. Choose OS2 when you are
using OS2 and SDRAM size greater than 64 MB. For other operating systems choose Non-OS2.
The choice: Non-OS2, OS2.
