3-6 Cooling Fans (SYSFAN,CPUFAN)
SYSFAN,CPUFAN are small 3-pin Header
Connectors that provide 12-Volt power for
CPU and System cooling fans. Plug in the fan
cable to the connector.
3-7 Stereo Audio In Connectors (CD1, CD2, AUX, JP4, JP5)
CD1, CD2 and AUX allows you to receive
stereo audio input from an internal CDROM
drive or other auxiliary audio source.
JP4 is for S/PDIF(Sony/Phillips Digital
Interface) Input and JP5 for S/PDIF Output.
JP9 is for S/PDIF Output Level Selection, On:
5Vp-p (TTL), Off: 0.5Vp-p (75 ohm load)
S/PDIF is a 75 ohm coaxial digital format
which is standard with many digital-audio
equipment manufacturers.
3-8 Power Supply Connector (XJ1)
This mainboard features
ATX-style Power Supply
Connector. This connector is
keyed to prevent connection in
the wrong direction. Line up the
locking mechanism on
connector from the Power Supply
with the tab on the mainboard
connector. Press down until the
two connectors are locked.
3-9 Serial and Parallel Ports (J3)
A 25-pin D-Sub header is provided on the
back panel for a multi-mode bi-directional
parallel port.
Two 9-pin D-Sub headers are also provided on
the back panel for Serial ports.
