5.4.3 E-mail Notification of New Messages

If your system administrator has set up your voicebox to send you an e-mail when
a new message arrives, you can enter and modify your personal e-mail address in
your voicebox.

Configuring Your Voicebox from Your PC

You can also operate your voicebox from a PC via the communications system's
Web configuration programme using an Internet browser. You must belong to a
user group which is authorised to use the Web configuration programme to be
able to do this. Contact your system administrator for further information.
1. Open a Web browser and enter the configuration system's IP address.
2. Enter your user name and password.
Briefly press the Voicemail key (in the idle state).
Lift the handset or press the hands-free/open-
listening key.
Enter your PIN, if you have one, and press OK.
Using the arrow key, select the
menu item.

Press OK to confirm your choice.
The e-mail's status is shown in the subsequent
display. If no e-mail address is displayed or if the
e-mail address shown is wrong, select the
menu item.

Enter the e-mail address using the telephone's
numerical keypad (see also the chapter on Entering
Text starting on page 31).
It doesn't matter whether you use upper or lower
case letters in the e-mail addresses.
Save the address by selecting the
and pressing OK.
