you back if their line is busy or free. (A subscriber is "free", when your call has
been added to the called subscriber's queue of calls. You can leave a request
that they call you back instead of waiting.)
2 Call waiting
■
and you want to speak to them urgently, you can use the call waiting function
to signal your call. When the subscriber you have called ends their call, your call
is signalled to them. If the subscriber has activated the call waiting protection,
the call waiting function is not possible.
3 Intrusion on/off
■
given the authorisation (by a system administrator), to intrude on an internal
call being made on another telephone. If you call an internal telephone that is
busy, you can use this menu item to intrude on the call and to end the intrusion
(or also by hanging up). When a call is intruded on, callers hear a "intrusion
tone" alerting them to the fact. During the intrusion, there is only a connection
between you and the telephone you have intruded on, e. g. the third party
cannot hear you.
Intrusion is not possible:
– if the telephone has active intrusion protection,
– if the telephone has active call blocking,
–if the telephone is making a conference call,
– for a hunt group,
– if the telephone is an IP telephone.
4 Override blocking
