Operation
• AS/PS button (23)
If you press this button briefly, the stations stored on the station buttons 1-6 (26) are played for a few seconds each.
To stop the auto-scan, press the button again.
When you keep the button pushed, all the stations that can be received well are stored on the station storage
buttons 1-6 (26).
After this procedure, the stored stations are played for a few seconds each as described above.
• PTY button (24)
This button activates the PTY function. You can recognize it by the PTY display.
After pushing the PTY button, the display will show the selected programme type.
Use the rotary control VOLUME (4) to set the desired programme type and push one of the buttons
 (15) or  (5) to start searching.
Now search for a station with this programme type starts.
If this scan does not find any station with the selected programme type, the display shows PTY NONE.

The following programme types are available:
NEWS, AFFAIRS, INFO, SPORT, EDUCATE, DRAMA, CULTURE, SCIENCE, VARIED, POP M,
ROCK M, EASY M, LIGHT M, CLASSICS, OTHER M, WEATHER, FINANCE, CHILDREN, SOCIAL,
RELIGION, PHONE IN, TRAVEL, LEISURE, JAZZ, COUNTRY, NATION M, OLDIES, FOLK M,
DOCUMENT, TEST, ALARM
