If the Automatic parameter is OFF, all other Power Management parameters have no
meaning.
When the Automatic parameter is ON, the Power Management proceeds as follows:
−
after the high-low tout expires, the CPU automatically reduces its clock
frequency and passes from High speed to Low speed
−
once the CPU is in Low speed and no activity occurs, (sleep tout expires), it
enters the SUSPEND state. The CPU resumes operations when a WAKEUP
event occurs, or when the ON/OFF key or trigger are pressed.
−
When the CPU is in SUSPEND and no WAKEUP event occurs, (off timeout
expires), it enters the OFF state through which all peripherals are disabled. The
CPU resumes operation only when pressing the ON/OFF key or trigger.
