CONTROL PANEL

If the CTLPANEL.EXE TSR runs, it is possible to visualize the control panel on the
DL9600 display by pressing the FUNC - ENTER sequence (48-Key models) or the
FUNC - TAB sequence (32-Key models):
You can manage each item by directly pressing the following keys:
<arrow up>
<arrow down> or TAB
<left arrow>
<right arrow> or ENTER
The "cradle setup" area allows modifying the cradle communication parameters. Every
time the DL9600 is inserted into the CC9600 cradle it sends the configuration
parameters to the cradle. Then, the CC9600 resets to its default values every time the
DL9600 is extracted. It is possible to cause the cradle to ignore the new configuration
during the terminal insertion by running the CTLPANEL.EXE with the -I option.
If the terminal is powered by the serial cable or inserted into the cradle, by selecting
the virtual "Discharge" button and pressing the ENTER key on the keyboard the
discharge cycle starts.
On the lower part of the screen it is possible to view date, time and charger status
information. The charger status is shown only if the terminal is powered from the
serial cable or inserted into the cradle. The possible values are:
- Slow charge: the temperature is too low or high to start the fast charge
- Fast charge: the charger is working
- End charge: the battery is fully charged and the charger is stopped
- Discharging: the battery is being discharged
- Failure: signals some battery charging errors
