Adjust the seat belt to around the hip
and retract the excessive length.

Pull the free end of the seat belt to
retract it. Keep the lap belt around the
lower hip area rather than on the
waist.

Do not make the seat belt too loose
or the lap belt too high. Under this
condition the occupant body could
slip out of the belt in an accident,
resulting in severe injury or even
death. Keep the lap belt around the
lower hip area.
