longer time to warm up the engine.
Speed up slowly and stably. Don't
accelerate suddenly. Shift to a
higher gear as soon as possible.
Prevent the engine from idling for
a long time. if you must stop the
vehicle for a long time, please turn
off the engine.
Prevent
the

overspeed. Select a suitable gear
according to the road conditions.
Avoid frequent acceleration and
sudden
stops.
acceleration and braking can lower
your fuel mileage.
Avoid unnecessary stopping and
braking. Maintain a steady pace.
Try to time the traffic lights so you
only need to stop the vehicle as
little as possible or take advantage
of streets without traffic lights.
Keep a proper distance from other
vehicles to avoid sudden braking.
This will also reduce brake wear.

Avoid heavy traffic or traffic jams
whenever possible.
Don't rest your foot on the brake
pedal. This causes premature
wear, overheating and poor fuel
economy.
Maintain a moderate speed on
highways. The faster you drive, the
greater the fuel consumption. By
from
reducing your speed, you will cut
down on fuel consumption.
Keep the front wheels in proper
alignment. Avoid hitting the curb

and slow down on rough roads
and humps. Improper alignment
not only causes faster tire wear but
also increases the engine load and
the fuel consumption.
Keep the bottom of your vehicle
free from mud, etc. This not only
reduces the vehicle weight but
also helps prevent corrosion.
Always
optimum conditions. A dirty air filter,
keep
the
vehicle
in
improper valve clearance, dirty
spark plugs, dirty oil and grease,
improperly adjusted brakes, etc. all
lower engine performance and
cause poor fuel economy. For
longer service life of all parts and
lower operating costs, keep your
vehicle
serviced
at
scheduled
intervals. If you often drive under
severe conditions, your vehicle
must
receive
more
frequent
maintenance. (See Chapter 8.)
CAUTION
Never switch off the engine
while driving downhill. This will
disable important systems such
as the power steering and
brake booster. The emission
control system cannot work
when the engine is turned off.
