CAUTION
When jacking, be sure to following
the instructions below to reduce the
possibility of severe injury or even
death:
Follow
the
manufacturer's
instructions on using the jack.
Don't put any part of your body
under the vehicle supported by
the jack. Otherwise, personal
injury may occur.
Don't start or run the engine
while the vehicle is supported by
the jack.
Stop the vehicle on a level and
solid ground, firmly set the
parking
brake
and
transmission in "P" (automatic)
or N (manual) gear. If necessary,
block
the
wheel
diagonally
opposite to the one to be
replaced.
Make sure to locate the jack
properly
in
the
jack

Raising the vehicle with an
improperly positioned jack may
damage the vehicle or allow the
vehicle to fall off the jack and
cause personal injury.
Never get under the vehicle
when it is supported by the jack
alone.
Use the jack only for lifting the
vehicle
replacement.
Don't raise the vehicle with
someone in it.
When raising the vehicle, do not
place any objects on top of or
underneath the jack.
