Water connection The wire feed unit has a ELP (ESAB Logic Pump) sensor which senses whether the water hoses of the welding gun are connected. When a water cooled welding gun is connected, the water pump is active. For wire feed units with ELP sensor the pump supply switch on the power source should be in position ”ELP/0”.
Blow the wire guide clean regularly and clean the contact tip. Topping up the coolant ESAB's ready mixed coolant is recommended for use. See accessories on page 28. Note! Coolant must be topped up if connecting a welding torch that is 5 metres in length or longer.
