1.1 Rear side SCAN-25
1 Fuse; replace a blown fuse only by the same type
2 Setscrews for the mounting bracket (13)
3 Mains jack for connection to a socket (230 V~/
50 Hz) via the supplied connection cable

(1 = ground, 2 = DMX-, 3 = DMX+)

1.2 Fernbedienung LC-3
Die Fernbedienung ist als Zubehör erhältlich und
gehört nicht zum Lieferumfang des SCAN-25.

(Spiegel in Ausgangsposition und Licht aus)
15 Taste FUNCTION:
im Fast-Modus zum Aktivieren eines Strobe-
Effekts (solange die Taste gedrückt wird)
im Slow-Modus zum Wechsel der 12 Farben und
und danach zum Wechsel des nächsten Musters
16 Taste MODE zum Umschalten zwischen Fast-
und Slow-Modus (im Slow-Modus leuchtet die
LED)
Hinweis: Zur Steuerung über die Fernbedienung
darf am Eingang INPUT (4) kein DMX-Signal an-
liegen.
2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Dieses Gerät entspricht der Richtlinie für elektroma-
gnetische Verträglichkeit 89/336/EWG und der Nie-
derspannungsrichtlinie 73/23/EWG.
Beachten Sie unbedingt die folgenden Punkte:
Das Gerät ist nur zur Verwendung in Innenräumen
geeignet. Schützen Sie es vor Tropf- und Spritz-
wasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässi-
ger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).
Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb oder zie-
hen Sie sofort den Netzstecker aus der Steck-
dose, wenn:
1. sichtbare Schäden am Gerät oder an der Netz-
anschlussleitung vorhanden sind,
2. nach einem Sturz oder Ähnlichem der Verdacht
auf einen Defekt besteht,
3. Funktionsstörungen auftreten.

is not part of the delivery of the SCAN-25.
14 Button STAND BY for the function Blackout
(mirrow in starting position and light off)
15 Button FUNCTION:
in the fast mode to activate a strobe effect (as
long as the button is pressed)
in the slow mode to change the 12 colours and
then to change to the next pattern
16 Button MODE to switch between fast mode and
slow mode (in the slow mode the LED lights up)
Note: For the control via the remote control no DMX
signal must be present at the INPUT (4)

This unit corresponds to the directive for electro-
magnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC and to the low
voltage directive 73/23/EEC.
Please observe the following items in any case:
The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it
against dripping water and splash water, high air
humidity, and heat (admissible ambient tempera-
ture range 0 – 40 °C).
Do no insert anything into the air vents. This may
result in an electric shock!
Do not operate the unit or immediately disconnect
the plug from the mains socket
1. if there is visible damage to the unit or to the
mains cable,
2. a defect might have occurred after the unit was
dropped or suffered a similar accident,

3 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Das Lichteffektgerät SCAN-25 ist besonders für den
Einsatz auf der Bühne und in Diskotheken geeignet.
Das Gerät projiziert verschiedene, farbige Muster
und sorgt somit für eine ideale Dancefloor-Atmo-
sphäre. Die Steuerung der Farben, der Muster und
des Spiegels erfolgt über das integrierte Mikrofon,
über die Fernbedienung LC-3 (separat als Zubehör
erhältlich) oder in Verbindung mit einem Lichtsteuer-
gerät über den DMX512-Eingang.
Das Lichteffektgerät ist nicht für den Dauerbe-
trieb ausgelegt. Es ist eine ununterbrochene Be-
triebsdauer von max. 1 Stunde zulässig.

mains voltage (230 V~). Never
make any modifications not de-
scribed in this instruction manual.
Inexpert handling may cause an
electric shock hazard.
Do no insert anything into the air vents. This may
result in an electric shock!
Never pull the mains cable for disconnecting the
mains plug from the mains socket, always seize
the plug.
For cleaning the housing only use a dry, soft cloth,
never use chemicals or water. For the lens and the
mirror also commercial detergents for glass may
be used.
No guarantee for the unit and no liability for result-
ing damage to property or resulting personal inju-
ries will be accepted if the unit is used for other pur-
poses than originally intended, if it is not installed or
operated correctly or not repaired in an expert way.

The wires in this mains lead are coloured in ac-
cordance with the following code:
green/yellow = earth
blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug,
proceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured green and yellow
must be connected to the terminal in the plug
which is marked with the letter E or by the earth
symbol , or coloured green or green and
yellow.
2. The wire which is coloured blue must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
3. The wire which is coloured brown must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.
Warning – This appliance must be earthed.
