If you discover an abnormality
Without driving any further, contact your Toyota dealer. Driving with the
abnormality could cause an unexpected accident and could result in death
or serious injury. Also, if you feel that there is something wrong with the vehi-
cle while driving, immediately stop in a safe place and inspect the vehicle.

After driving off-road
Remove any foreign objects or substances such as grass, undergrowth,
paper, rubble, rocks, sand, etc. after driving through undergrowth, mud,
rocks, rubble, sand, water, etc. If you drive without removing them, the vehi-
cle may break down or catch fire and could result in death or serious injury.
■
To prevent damage to the center differential
For normal driving on dry roads and highways, unlock the center differential.
