DEFAULT SETTING Shift position linked door unlocking function - Doors unlock when shifting into Park. Speed linked door locking function - Doors lock when the vehicle speed is approximately 12 mph (20 km/h) or higher.   • Page 19 i-FORCE MAX Hybrid System The i-FORCE MAX system utilizes a computer controlled gasoline engine and an electric motor located in-between the engine and transmission to provide the most efficient combination of power for the vehicle. When the brakes are applied, the motor will act as a generator to provide charging energy for the traction battery, as well as provide braking force in conjunction with the service brakes to slow the vehicle.
