When driving downhill through rocky terrain

Set the four-wheel drive control switch to L4, shift the shift lever to 1
range of S mode (automatic transmission) or 1 (manual transmission),
and use the brake pedal to drive slowly and carefully (Crawl Control
carry out these operations automatically, thus it may enhance driving
comfort).

Choose a driving line where the tires are on the rocks and that travels
straight down the incline.

If it appears that the wheels will lock
Depress the accelerator pedal slightly and drive while ensuring that the
wheels do not lock.
