REMOVING THE COOKTOP GLASS

WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
1.
Disconnect power to the cooktop.
2.
Remove the cooktop from its mounting
location.
3.
Remove the 12 screws (3 on each side)
from the front, rear, and side flanges of the
cooktop glass.

4.
Lift the cooktop glass off the burner base.
REINSTALLING THE
COOKTOP GLASS
NOTE: When you reinstall the cooktop glass
on the burner base, make sure that you insert
the two alignment pins on the bottom of the
glass into the holes of the user interface board
assembly for proper alignment.
