The blender's motor drives the blades at high speed to ensure thorough blend-
ing.
Consequently, it is important that the blender is always placed on a plain, dry
surface before it is activated. Also check if the container is correctly attached to
the motor base – otherwise the blender cannot be activated.
To avoid overfilling the jug, please limit the amount to approximately 0.8 liters.
Use the measurement scale on the container as a guide.
NOTE: Do not switch on the blender with only dry ingredients (e.g. nuts) in the
container, as this may damage the blender. Always add a little liquid before
switching on the blender.
Place lid and stopper on the jug before the blender is activated. Make sure that
the blender is set to speed level '0' and apply the plug to a power socket. Turn the
switch to the desired speed level for a few seconds. Then turn the speed switch
back to '0' and check the consistency of the mixture. The blender is very quick –
do not activate the blender for too long. The pilot light is on when the unit is
activated.
Use the 'Pulse' (moment) position for shorter time intervals. The switch must be
held at this position for the blender to work. As soon as the switch is released, the
blender will stop.
Use 'Pulse' to avoid over-blending.
Never use the blender for more than 1 minute at a time. Let the blender
cool for 3 minutes (to avoid overheating), before you continue.
