Vista Varifocal Dome Cameras Installation Instructions INTRODUCTION These instructions cover Vista Varifocal Dome cameras. Read all of these instructions. Use them to install your camera and have them available for its lifetime. If you have any problems, contact your agent.

Do not touch the CCD sensor directly with your fingers. If necessary, use a soft cloth moistened with alcohol to wipe off any dust. The Vista Varifocal Dome range is designed for use in general purpose internal CCTV applications and has no other purpose. Only operate your camera between the temperatures of -10 C and C.

INSTALLATION Mounting the Camera The Vista Varifocal Dome camera can be wall or ceiling mounted. Using the template supplied, make four holes for the fixing screws, and one hole for the video and power cables. To fix the camera, it is recommended that the camera assembly is removed from the gimbal in order to access the fixing holes.

Vista Varifocal Dome Cameras Installation Instructions INSTALLATION Connections Connect the power to the power connector jack. Connect the video from the monitor to the Video connector BNC. Ensure that the power is off before connection. Check for correct polarity before connection. Improper polarity may cause damage to the camera.

Installation Instructions Vista Varifocal Dome Cameras ADJUSTMENTS Camera position The camera assembly moves in the Tilt direction and can be Panned. Adjust the direction until the camera is pointing in the desired direction. Field of View and Focus Use the levers on the Varifocal lens to set the desired field of view and focus.
