Usage
► Drive with the seat raised or with the seat tilt/back
angle adjustment activated only for short distances at
home. Always use the speed level 1 for this. Note that
the field of vision is limited when driving.
► Slightly tilt the seat to the rear when driving forwards
down inclines or over obstacles (e.g. curbs) and
reduce the speed.
► Use the seat height adjustment and the seat tilt only on
firm, level ground.
► Note that the climbing ability of power wheelchairs with
electric seat height adjustment and seat tilt is reduced.
Driving on inclines and slopes is permitted under ISO
7176-1 and 7176-2 with lowered seat height adjust­
ment and lowered seat tilt up to max 6° (10%).
WARNING
Overloading
Falling, tipping over due to non-compliance with technical
data
► Note that the maximum permitted load of the power
wheelchair may be reduced when using the options
"Electric seat height adjustment" and "Electric seat tilt"
(see section "Technical Data").

Exposed pinch points in the seat adjustment and lift­
ing areas
Risk of pinching, crushing of limbs
► Note that when power seat options are used, inherent
pinch and shear points are located between the seat
frame and the power wheelchair frame.
► Ensure that no body parts, such as hands or feet, are
in the danger area while power seat options are used.
► Ensure that no interfering objects, such as clothing or
other obstacles, are in the danger area while power
seat options are used.
WARNING
Overloading of the actuators
Risk of falling, tipping, pinching, crushing of limbs
► Avoid overloading the actuators. Overloading may
cause the spindle nut to break, causing the seat to sag
or the backrest to flip back suddenly.
