Unplug the cleaner before doing any of the following.
Use HOOVER brand detergents;

others may cause excessive foam.
Push recovery tank front panel

completely down when cleaning
floors (Fig. a).
Secure recovery tank lid on all sides

before cleaning (Fig. b).
Empty recovery tank when full or
•
when automatic shut-off
engages (see Owner's Manual).
Use extra dry strokes to aid in faster
•
drying of the carpet.
