Preparing installation location

Remove control unit for auxiliary heater 1 (will
be remounted offset later); flanged nuts will
be reused.
Disconnect electrical connections on auxiliary
heater [4x] and earthing strap.
2 Remove bracket of control unit for auxiliary
heater
1 Control unit for auxiliary heater
3 Mount M6x20 bolt, original vehicle flanged
nut in existing hole
2 6.5 mm dia. hole, M6x20 bolt, original
vehicle flanged nut
Cut off bracket 2 at markings.
1 Discard section

Position electrical connections on auxiliary
heater 2 [4x] as shown and tighten. Position
earthing strap 4 as shown, tighten and secure
with cable tie 3 .
