Preconditions
☑Engine is stopped and starting disabled.
☑MTU Fluids and Lubricants Specification (A001061/..) is available.

Task
Depreserve (→ MTU Fluids and Lubricants Specifications A001061/.. ).
Check oil level (→ Page 220) .
Prime (→ Page 213) .
Align adjustable pointer with position of pressure indicator (→ Page 209) .
Vent (→ Page 205) .
Prime (approx. 3 to 4 liters).
If engine is out of service for more than one year, change coolant
(→ Page 234) .
Check coolant level (→ Page 233) .
Preheat coolant with preheating unit.
Check plug-in connections (→ Page 250) .
Switch ON.
Press READY FOR OPERATION button (→ Page 140) .
Press LAMP TEST button (→ Page 140) .
