Upload Log to CF

The user has the option of saving entries made into the Switch History Log onto the CompactFlash drive as
well. These entries will be saved as a text file on the CompactFlash. Upon release of this version of the Switch,
the only method of reading these files is through the user of a separate memory card reader. Future updated
versions of this Switch will have the capability to read these text files through the web manager or CLI
management options. To save a Switch History Log to the CompactFlash memory, first go to the Upload Log
to CF window by clicking Maintenance > CF Services > Upload Log to CF.

Ping Test

Ping is a small program that sends data packets to the IP address you specify. The destination node then returns
the packets to the Switch. This is very useful to verify connectivity between the Switch and other nodes on the
network.
