Pre-installation BEFORE YOU INSTALL THIS PUMP WARNING: Risk of explosion. Do not ground to a gas supply line. The pump body may explode if used as a booster pump or other than a lawn sprinkling application. CAUTION: Risk of burns. Do not touch an operating motor. Motors are designed to operate at high temperatures. It is protected from heat damage during operation by an automatic internal cutoff switch. -

Operation WARNING: Hazardous Pressure. Install a pressure relief valve in the discharge pipe. Release all pressure on the system before working on any component. WARNING: Risk of explosion and scalding. NEVER run the pump against a closed discharge. To do so can boil water inside the pump, causing hazardous pressure in the unit, risk of explosion, and possibly scalding persons handling the pump. -

Care and Cleaning To clear a pump clogged with debris: Unplug the pump from electrical power. Remove four screws (8). Remove the volute (2), O-ring (2), and O-ring (3). Remove three screws (4) fastening the diffuser (5) to the seal plate (7) and remove the diffuser (5). Remove debris from around the impeller (6). -
