Slide the new slotted Pick Up Roller into the opening on the right and rotate the green lever until it locks
into place.

Close the Pick Up Roller Cover.

Close the Front Cover and attach the Extendable ADF.

Reset the Pick Up Roller's Counter (see Reset the Usage Counters on page 255).
NOTE
Confirm the following:
• The error message on the Status Monitor has been cleared.
• The Touchscreen or LED indication does not indicate Replace Pick Up Roller.
• Pull the green lever open firmly and quickly in step
• Gently rotate the slotted green lever in step
