Connecting Phone Filters to Your Existing Phones
Procedure
After you have installed your SuperLine Adapter, each existing phone in your home or
office must be connected through a phone filter to minimize background noise during
telephone conversations. Use the following procedure to install phone filters on your
existing phones.
Disconnect your existing phone from the wall jack or BASE PHONE jack on the
SuperLine Adapter rear panel.
Plug your existing phone into the PHONE jack on the phone filter.
NOTE:
Do not plug your existing phone into the LINE jack on the phone filter.
Plug one end of the short RJ11 phone cable into the LINE jack of the phone filter.
Plug the other end of the short phone cable into the wall jack or BASE PHONE
jack on the SuperLine Adapter rear panel.
Repeat Steps 1–4 for each phone in your home or office that is not connected through
your SuperLine Adapter.
