Sample Application
In the figure below, the EZ Switch 10/100 is operating as a
collapsed backbone for a small LAN. It is providing dedicated 20
Mbps full-duplex connections to workstations and 200 Mbps
full-duplex connections to power users and servers. An optional
Gigabit fiber module installed in the front panel is used to provide
a 2 Gbps full-duplex link to a switch up to 550 m away. An 800
Mbps trunk link is provided to another switch by grouping four
full-duplex 200 Mbps links.
