Connections and electrics

Important remarks

The housing must only be opened by
authorised skilled personnel!
Before opening the housing, switch off
the device and disconnect the mains
plug. If this is not done, there is a
danger of an accident due to dangerous
contact voltages.

Mains connection

The connection of the device to the mains is
effected via a combination unit consisting of:
– Mains-apparatus connection, (1)
– Voltage-selection switch, (3)
– Fuse insertion, (3)
– Hum eliminator (4) and
– Mains switch (2).
The voltage-selection switch and fuse inser-
tion both form the drawer for the protection
and switching of the operating voltage of the
device.
The mains voltage and the voltage set
on the voltage-selection switch must be
the same.
Details on switching the mains voltage
can be found in the USER MANUAL,
section "Commissioning and operation".
The hum eliminator prevents interference
impulses from penetrating the device or
getting out of the device into the national grid
(electromagnetic compatibility).
