1 Safety

1.1 General safety instructions

Danger
This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years
and above and by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge when they have been given supervi­
sion or instruction concerning the safe use of the de­
vice and understand the resulting risks. Children must
not be allowed to play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance must not be carried out by chil­
dren without supervision.
Danger of electric shock
Before any work, switch off all electricity supplies.
Caution
Installation of the heat pump must be done by a quali­
fied professional in accordance with prevailing local
and national regulations.
Warning
Do not touch the refrigeration connection pipes with
your bare hands while the heat pump is running. Dan­
ger of burn or frost injury.
Warning
Do not touch the radiators for long periods. Depending
on the heat pump settings, the temperature of the ra­
diators may exceed 60°C.
Warning
In order to limit the risk of being scalded, the installa­
tion of a thermostatic mixing valve on the domestic hot
water flow pipes is obligatory.
Take precautions with the domestic hot water. De­
pending on the heat pump settings, the domestic hot
water temperature may exceed 65°C.
Caution
Only genuine spare parts may be used.
Warning
Only qualified professionals are authorised to work on
the domestic hot water tank and the heating installa­
tion.
Note
Insulate the pipes to reduce heat losses to the mini­
mum.
