RECORDING TIME CALCULATION

Please confirm the HDD has been installed when install GVR3550/GVR3552 the first time.
HDD Capacity formula is:
Total HDD Space (M) = the amount of cameras * required time (Hour) * the HDD space occupied per
hour(M/H)
From the formula above we could conclude the recording time formula:
Recording Time (hour ) = Total HDD Space (M)/the HDD space occupied per hour ( M/H) *the amount
of cameras
GVR3550/GVR3552 is equipped with MPEG4/H.264 compression technique, its dynamic range is quite
large thus the HDD capacity calculation based on assessing the video file size each camera recorded per
hour.
e.g.:
The video one single camera records per hour takes up 200M/H in HDD, use GVR3550 to record
synchronously with 12 cameras.
Record Time (hour) = 2*4*1024*1024/200(M/H)*12=3495.25(Hour)145.6(Day)
