j When the [REC MODE] or [REC FORMAT] setting is changed to a setting that does not
support Variable Frame Rate Mode

≥ This function is not available in the following cases:
j When you set [OUTPUT BITS] to [4:2:2(10bit)]
j When [2 SLOTS FUNC.] is set to [DUAL CODEC]
≥ The following functions are canceled:
j Flash band compensation
j Relay recording
j Background recording
j Interval Recording
j PRE-REC (l 86, 163)
j Hybrid Optical Image Stabilizer
≥ [BLACK FADE] and [WHITE FADE] are disabled.
≥ Still picture recording cannot be used.
≥ Even if you press the recording start/stop button as soon as recording has started, it may take
some time until the recording stops.
≥ The screen may momentarily black out when the frame rate is changed in Step 2.
≥ The maximum continuous recordable time for one scene in Variable Frame Rate Mode varies
depending on the set frame rate. Recording stops when a certain time has elapsed since the start
of the recording, and restarts automatically a few seconds later.
j When recording in slow motion: 10 hours
j When recording with the same frame rate as the frame rate in [REC FORMAT]: 10 hours
j When recording in quick motion, the recordable time becomes shorter than 10 hours
depending on the ratio between the frame rate for [REC FORMAT] and variable frame rate
setting.
