Determine the image composition
while looking into the LCD monitor.
• There is a difference between the image
range through the viewfinder and the actual
one in the close up mode. We recommend
you to use the LCD monitor when you
determine the image composition.
• We recommend you to fix the camera on
the stable stand or on the tripod.
• The LCD monitor cannot be turned off in
the close up mode.

Press the shutter-release button part-
way down.
• If the focus lamp (green) blinks, check that
the subject is within the distance from 4 cm
to 40 cm (is not apart more than 40 cm
from the camera).

Press the shutter-release button all-
the-way down to take the picture.
• Even after taking a picture, the close up
mode is not cancelled. When the camera is
turned off and on again, the camera enters
autofocus mode.
• When the camera enters the autofocus
mode, the flash mode is returned to
"AUTOFLASH WITH RED-EYE
REDUCTION".
