TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
The zoom play cannot
be performed.
The image is too dark
or bright.
Even when the lens
comes out, the data
panel is turned off and
the camera can not
function.
The recorded image
file is damaged.
The camera does not
function correctly due
to the strong static
electricity, etc.
Check
Did you take a picture with
the digital zoom function?
Is the exposure
compensation value
specified?
Has the
battery-
condition indicator blinked
(all the indicators
disappeared after 5
seconds)?
Did you remove the CF
card when the image data
was recorded in or read out
from the CF card?
Remove the batteries and insert them again. When using
the AC adapter (sold separately), disconnect the plug of
the AC adapter from the AC outlet and then connect it
again.
After that, turn on the power of the camera.
* If the power of the camera cannot be turned off
correctly, the CF card may be damaged. In this case,
transfer the image data in the CF card to the computer
and then format the CF card.

Solution
The picture captured with
the digital zoom function
cannot be played back in
the zoom play mode.
Specify 0 for the exposure
compensation value.
If the
battery-
condition indicator blinks,
all the indicators will
disappear after 5 seconds
while the lens is protruding.
The data is being recorded
in or read out from the CF
card while the focus lamp
(green) blinks slowly (about
2 times in a second). Do
not remove the CF card
from the camera.
