INSTALLATION

1. After unpacking, wipe cooler with soft cloth.
2. Place the machine on a hard, flat surface, making certain the unit is level. The unit should not be placed in direct
sunlight or near any other source of heat.
3. It is best to place the water cooler in an area with good air circulation. Make sure there is at least 4 inches (10 cm)
of space between the back of your water cooler and the wall. Keep a minimum distance of 2 inches (5 cm) on each
side of your water cooler.
WARNING: The drain cap on the back of the unit may become loosened during shipping. Fasten the drain cap tightly
before starting the unit. A loose drain cap may leak causing floor damage.
IMPORTANT: Do not plug in the power cord yet.
4. Clean the top of the water bottle cap and neck with a clean cloth. Remove the tamper seal from the plastic cap.
5. Invert bottle and line the center of the bottle cap over the probe of the no-spill device. Carefully push bottle onto
the no-spill device.
6. Place a cup under the hot faucet, and activate until water flows freely from the hot faucet. Repeat on the cold side.
Once water flows freely from both fuacets, the unit can be plugged in. Failure to follow these steps may damage
the water cooler and will void all warranty.
7. Plug the cooler into a grounded GFCI power outlet.
8. Flip the power switch on the back of the unit to the ON position. DO NOT MOVE BOTH SWITCHES AT THE SAME
TIME. The cooling and heating indicator lights on the front of the unit will light up.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
During shipment, dust and odors can accumulate in the water cooler. It is recommended to flush a half-gallon of water
from both hot and cold faucets prior to use.
Cold Water Dispensing: It may take an hour for cold water to reach optimum temperature. During this time the
compressor will be on. This is normal.
Hot Water Dispensing: It may take up to 15 minutes for hot water to reach optimum temperature. This unit is
equipped with a child-proof, hot-water safety lever. To dispense hot water, squeeze the front and back of the hot
faucet at the same time, and push down.
WARNING: Water out of the hot faucet may cause burns.
Do not allow children to dispense hot water without direct supervision.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

For maximum efficiency and performance, your water dispenser requires cleaning on a regular basis (ie. every
6 months). Regular cleaning will prevent potential growth of bacteria and will help maintain a hygienic environment.
To maintain a hygienic environment within your water dispenser and prevent potential formation (growth) of bacteria,
we strongly recommend regular cleaning.
