CHANGING THE BATTERY
insert the new battery with the + side facing up
as shown on the side of the battery compartment.
always remove the old battery before inserting a
new one.
6090 sP uses a type 675 zinc-air battery. a weak
battery will reduce the performance of the hearing
instrument.

BATTERY WARNINGS

Batteries contain dangerous substances and should
be disposed of carefully in the interest of your sa-
fety as well as for the environment.
Keep old batteries in a safe place and return them
to a hearing care professional for recycling. do
NoT attempt to recharge batteries which are not
specifically designated rechargeable as they may
leak or explode.
do NoT attempt to dispose of batteries by burning
them.
Keep batteries away from small children. if swal-
lowed, seek immediate medical attention.

INSERTING THE INSTRUMENT (with ear mould)
1) hold the ear mould
between your thumb
and index finger and
position its sound out-
let in your ear canal
) slide the ear mould
all the way into your
ear with a gentle,
twisting
movement
(insertion will be easier
if you gently pull your
ear up and back with
your other hand)
3) Turn the top-part of
the ear mould gently
backwards and for-
wards so that it tucks
behind the fold of skin
above your ear canal
4) Place the hearing in-
strument behind your ear
5) move the ear mould up and down and press
gently to ensure it is positioned correctly in the
ear
6) When the ear mould and hearing instrument
are correctly positioned, and you have not al-
ready turned it on, switch on your instrument
by closing the battery door
Tip
opening and closing your mouth can ease
insertion.
