Changing the Battery

When the battery voltage/power decreases
to a certain level, the instrument will stop
amplifying and emit soft beeping
signals. This signal will continue
for about one minute and the
sequence will continue
every five minutes
until the instrument
will be automatically
switched off.
Please make sure you have the correct size battery. It
will be labeled on the battery or on the battery pack-
age. This hearing instrument requires a size 10A. This is
a Standard Zinc Air battery.
If you forget the battery size
your hearing instrument uses you
will find it labeled on the flat side of
the hearing instrument. Please open the
battery compartment completely, without
using force, by using your fingernail.
After removing the old battery, insert the new one.

The battery should be inserted in the battery compart-
ment with the flat side, which is the side with the sticker
on, facing up. The battery should fit in like a puzzle
piece. Be sure to remove the sticker before closing the
battery compartment door. The battery compartment
door should close very easily. Never use force to close
the door as this may damage your hearing instrument.
Please remove the battery when you are not wearing
the instrument. This will help preventing corrosion on
the battery contacts.
