PROTECTIVE EqUIPMENT

• Wear approved eye protection! The operation of machine can result in foreign objects being

thrown into your eyes which may result in severe eye damage. Normal glasses are not sufficient
for eye protection. For example, corrective glasses or sunglasses do not provide adequate
protection because they have not special safety glass and aren't enough closed from the sides.
• Wear adequate noise protection equipment! The impact of noise can cause hearing damage or
hearing loss. Take frequent work breaks. Limit the amount of exposure per day.
• Always wear sturdy shoes with nonslip soles. Risk of damaging the legs or risk of slipping on

wet or slippery ground. This protects against injuries and ensures a good footing.
• While mowing, always wear long trousers. Do not operate the machine when barefoot or
wearing open shoes.
• Wear gloves when dealing with the blades. Risk of cuts.
• Safety equipment such as a dust mask or hard hat used for appropriate conditions will reduce
personal injuries, especially when the machining operation creates dust or there is a risk of

hitting your head on protruding or low level obstructions.

• This machine is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the machine by a person responsible for
their safety.

• Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves
away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
• Prolonged use of the machine may lead to disorders of blood circulation in hands caused by
vibration. These effects can be worsened by low ambient temperatures and/or by gripping the
handgrips excessively tightly. Period of use you can extend with appropriate gloves or regular
breaks. Take frequent work breaks. Limit the amount of exposure per day.

PETROL TOOL USE AND CARE

WARNING! Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive.
• Store fuel in containers specifically designed for this purpose.
• Refuel outdoors only and do not smoke while refueling.
• Add fuel before starting the engine. Never remove the cap of the fuel tank or add petrol while
the engine is running or when the engine is hot.
• If petrol is spilled, do not attempt to start the engine but move the machine away from the area
of spillage and avoid creating any source of ignition until petrol vapors have dissipated.
• Replace all fuel tank and container caps securely.
• Do not operate the engine in a confined space where dangerous carbon monoxide can collect.
• Do not force the petrol tool. Use the correct petrol tool for your application. The correct petrol
