Installation for hybrid mode
In this installation a BHF hybrid filter is fitted to the
device's fan outlet. The exhaust pipe is connected to
the hybrid filter.
Ø Make sure that the cross-section of the ventilation
slits in the top structure is more than 200 cm².
Ø Make sure that the exhaust pipe has a diameter of
at least 125 mm.
Ø Make sure that the air can flow freely out of the
device.
Ø Ensure that you can change the filter filling at a
later date.
The filter's filling needs to be regularly replaced.

Information about extracted air mode

DANGER
Danger of suffocation due to lack of
oxygen when the device is operated at
the same time as there is an open fire.
Ø If the device is operated at the same
time as devices which work using
room air (e.g. gas stove, fire places
or gas heaters), no gases or exhaust
gases are drawn into the room.
Ø Ensure there is an adequate supply
of fresh air into the dwelling.
Ø Make sure that the legal provisions
of the fire regulations (FeuV in
Germany) applicable to your
location/federal state are observed.
Ø Make sure that you have obtained
the permit from your master chimney
sweep to operate the extractor hood,
if required.
Measures to ensure a sufficient supply of fresh air:
§ Operate the device only when a window contact
switch is fitted.
§ Open the window.
§ Open the door.
§ Install a berbel BMK wall box.
§ Ensure that the prescribed forced ventilation of the
open fire is working.
