Hardware Installation

CPU

Overview
The system board is equipped with Socket AM2+ for installing an AMD
CPU designed for this socket.

Installing the CPU

1. Make sure the PC and all other peripheral devices connected to it has
been powered down.
2. Disconnect all power cords and cables.
3. Locate Socket AM2+ on
the system board.
4. Unlock the socket by
pushing the lever side-
ways, away from the
socket, then lifting it up
to a 90
