AINTENANCE
- Regularly check:
• The tension in the steering cables.
• The tightness of the steering system components.
- Don't tighten the steering cables excessively.
- Lubricate all the elements.
Maintain the nylon, ertalon or teflon bushes with only a suitable lubricant.
Note: Do not hesitate to consult your dealer about system maintenance.

ABLE ADJUSTMENT
TEERING SYSTEM
The steering gear is assembled and pre-adjusted at the factory, however, only actual use at sea will enable
the steering cable to find its definitive postion around the wheel drum.
For this reason, it is necessary to re-adjust the gear after the first few sea outings.
The adjustment is made on the nut and bolt system integral with the steering cable at the join with the profile. To
check the adjustment exert a perpendicular force on the cable between the wheel drum and the return sheaves
located on the hull.

distance of deceleration for the vessel to
come to a complete stop.
-Refer to chapter 2 "Safety"for use of the
emergency tiller.

-The steering system is a feature of sailing
safety and for this reason must be verified
at least once a year.
